Board Meeting Minutes
December 18, 2007

Members Present: Donna Crock, Pat Newbern, Rich Wilson, Ramona Christensen, Bob Curtis, Deanee Widauf, Wendy Kinkade, Barb Thomasee and Tim Tyler.

Meeting was called to order: By President Donna Crock at 11:50 a.m.

Minutes: Rich Wilson moved to accept the Minutes of the Board Meeting of November 27, 2007 and the December 15th Chapter meeting, Seconded by Tim Tyler. Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report: Ramona Christensen presented the December 2007 Treasurer’s Report with checking account deposits of $219.00, disbursements of $275.00 and a balance of $1,879.31. Term Share accounts Investment and savings balances ending December 18, 2007 was $12,793.51.

Committee Reports:

Education: Barbara Thomasee reported that she was waiting receipt of any applications.

Membership: Tim Tyler reported that Mark Brown and Connie Rothwell had joined the chapter.

Programs: As of this date there is nothing scheduled for January. Game and Fish or the Library are possibilities. May 6th is possibly a tour of the Rawhide Plant in Colorado.

Newsletter: Deanne Widauf stated that she would include a number of items in the next newsletter including the Presidents talk and pictures of the Trolley Tour. Also she will request silent auction items for the seminar.

Web Site: Donna Crock stated that nothing has currently changed.

Old Business:

By-Laws Update: Rich stated that Kristy has done a fine job in reviewing everything related to the by-laws.

Library Holdings: The review of these is still in progress.

Chapter Charities: A $100 check has been written to the Cheyenne V.A. and Wendy will handle delivering it to them.

Speaker Grant: Donna will mail out for review and approval to Paula Sutton, Region Manager.

March Seminar: Rich Wilson and Pat Newbern will work on the exact title of the seminar. Topics for the seminar will be: 1. ECM selection and implementation (possibly discussing RIM & ROI considerations)? 2. Computer Forensics and RM Considerations 3.Federal Rules of Civil Procedures - the Amendments and ESI. Location will be at the Kiwanis Community House on March 10th, 2008. Cost will be $135 for Non-ARMA. $100 for ARMA members, $55. One complimentary registration will be offered to the city, county, WYDOT and WY State Archives for helping with the seminar. No charge for the Committee members and Kristy Anderson. Motion by Pat Newbern for complimentary registration for seminar. Seconded by Tim Tyler. Motion passed.

SOS: Bob Curtis discussed the procedure to update the name at the Secretary of States Office. Ramona said she would complete the form and deliver it when she pays the annual corporation dues.

New Business:

Donna Crock presented the member of the year award from ARMA international to Pat Newbern.

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 12:45 pm.

Next Board meeting will be January 22, 2008 at the Kiwanis Community House. At 11:30 AM.
