Topic: Getting Ready for 2010: What the Last 10 Years of Electronic Discovery Has Taught Us
Presenter: Deborah Juhnke , Vice President of Computer Forensics Inc.
Deborah Juhnke has worked for Computer Forensics Inc. since 1994. CFI combines the expertise of computer, litigation and records management specialists to locate, collect and analyze evidence found on backup tapes, hard drives, servers, and e-mail systems. Before joining this company, Deborah was Vice President of TechLaw Litigation Support Division, where she oversaw the litigation support product development initiatives, senior level project consulting, strategic marketing, and national client management.
Kristy Anderson opened the seminar by welcoming everyone. Rich Wilson introduced the guest speaker. Deborah began the seminar with a history of e -discovery and some technical basics. The vendor show began during the morning break. Deborah continued the morning discussion on e-mail and instant messaging. After lunch, volunteers presented a case study with a breakout session. The seminar concluded with a discussion on e -risk management.
A Silent Auction was held during the lunch hour to raise money for the scholarship fund. Over 25 items were auctioned for a profit of $632.00. There were 77 attendees at the seminar.
