Annual Business and Awards Dinner Meeting
June 5, 2007

Members Present: Tony Adams, Kristy Anderson, Donna Baur, Mary Bausserman, Ramona Christensen, Dolores Crock, Donna Crock, Bob Curtis, Wendy Kinkade, Pat Newbern, Valerie Roybal, Vicki Seals, Deanne Widauf, and Rich Wilson.

After enjoying a relaxing social time and dinner at Poor Richards Restaurant, President Rich Wilson opened the meeting by welcoming everyone and began by reflecting the many accomplishments of our past year’s activities of the WY Chapter of ARMA: • Our informative monthly meetings have been well attended and included many places and topics of interest. • There were 71 attendees at our Annual Spring Seminar, which was the forth year we have been fortunate to see an increase in interest and attendance. • The Silent Auction held during our Spring Seminar brought in enough funds to assist the sponsorship of 3, $500.00 scholarships this year. • Our Chapter assisted WY SHRAB with additional educational spring seminars and workshops. • Our Chapter assisted with several additional charities: Family assistance in Cheyenne, Cody, and Needs in Cheyenne.

President, Rich Wilson expressed his deep gratitude to the busy Board of Directors and each and everyone who has given of their time and efforts to make our 2006-2007 year so very successful. In addition, Rich expressed gratitude to the many businesses, state and public agencies including but not limited to the Wyoming Department of Transportation, City of Cheyenne, Laramie County, State Archives and Public Service Commission for their extra assistance and support in our activities, and a special thank you to Kristy Anderson for her time and efforts through out this busy year and to Donna Crock for her continued updates and support with ‘Shannon’ and her family.

Treasurer, Ramona Christensen then presented the year-end Treasurer’s Report and Balance Sheet. Our Chapter began 7-1-06 with a checking balance of $5,350.79. There was a total of $19,762.00 Revenue with a total of $13,797.39 disbursements resulting in the 6-4-07 checking balance of $11,315.40. Our Term Share accounts 6-4-07 was $10,690.55, with a resulting Checking and Share Account balances through June 4, 2007 was $22,005.95

President, Rich Wilson then reported Paula Sutton, our Region ARMA Manager was not able to attend this evening due to a family emergency. Our 2007-2008 Board of Directors and Officers will be sworn in later this summer.

President, Rich Wilson, then turned the meeting over to Kristy Anderson, Chairperson of the Board, who presented Certificates and awards to recognize the work of the Board members for the past year, which included the following: Certificates for assistance with meetings and other educational needs: Laramie County Clerk’s Office, City of Cheyenne, Wyoming Department of Transportation, State Parks & Cultural Resources-Archives, WY Public Service Commission, and Bob Curtis. Kristy and Rich then awarded Certificates of appreciation and plagues (and/or plague attachments- a.k.a ‘hangie things’) to board members for their work and continued support: Tim Tyler-Membership Chair, Ramona Christensen-Treasurer, Donna Crock-Vice President & Webb Master, Donna Baur-Newsletter, Wendy Kinkade-Programs, Barb Thomasee-Education, Pat Newbern-Secretary, Kristy Anderson Chairperson of the Board. Kristy then presented a plaque and gavel and thanks to outgoing President-Rich Wilson.

Next Chairperson, Kristy Anderson named 5-year member pin award names: Glenda Young. 10-year member pin award names: Ramona Christensen, Donna Crock, Dodie Bomar, Rita Dennis, and Lesley Espinosa, with one 15 year pin for Jerry Hager.

Chairperson of the Board, Kristy Anderson then expressed her appreciation to Tony Adams and Mary Bausserman for their assistance with herself on the selection of the ARMA Chapter Member of the Year. Chairperson, Kristy Anderson then awarded our Wyoming ARMA Chapter Member of the Year to Pat Newbern. Kristy described Pat as a member always willing to help out, pleasant and fun with a sense of humor, and one who is very committed to our chapter.

President, Rich Wilson then asked for nominations from the floor for the 2006-2007 Wyoming ARMA Chapter slate of officers. There being no nominations entertained from the floor, Pat Newbern moved to accept the slate of officer by acclamation. The slate of officers for the board as presented is: Donna Crock-President/Webb Master, Pat Newbern-Vice President, Ramona Christensen-Treasurer, Bob Curtis-Secretary, Timothy Tyler-Membership, Wendy Kinkade-Programs/Public Relations, Barbara Thomasee-Education, Diane Widauf-Newsletter, and Rich Wilson-Chairperson of the Board. Motion seconded by Kristy Anderson. Motion carried.

President, Rich Wilson thanked everyone and welcomed Bob Curtis and Diane Widauf, our new Wyoming ARMA Chapter Board Members.

President, Rich Wilson thanked everyone for coming and wished everyone a good night, and there being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
